External Affair Minister of India, H.E. Dr. S. Jaishankar visited to Russia on 25-29 December 2023 as a part of the ongoing high-level exchanges between the two sides.
During this visit, EAM met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia H.E. Denis Manturov and discussed matters related to economic engagement. EAM was met his counterpart, the Foreign Minister of Russia H.E. Sergey Lavrov for discussion on bilateral, multilateral and international issues.
Focusing on the strong people to people and cultural ties between our two countries, EAM’s programme also included engagements in Moscow and in St. Petersburg.
The time tested India-Russia partnership has remained stable and resilient and continues to be characterized by the spirit of the Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership.
