Please accept my sincere congratulations on the Republic of India’s assumption of the BRICS Chairmanship.
Belarus highly valuesIndia’s efforts to maintain peace and stability. Your country’s economic, religious and cultural authority has been one of the pillars of global equilibrium for centuries.
I am confident that the next year, under India’s Chairmanship, will be a period of new achievements and successes for BRICS, and that Your wisdom and forward-looking policies will contribute to further progress and the preservation of the association’s position as one of the most influential international organizations.
I am grateful for the assistance India has provided Belarus in obtaining BRICS partner status. We are ready for fruitful work under India’s Chairmanship to successfully build a just and multipolar world order. We consider the BRICS priorities outlined by New Delhi for 2026 (responding to challenges, innovation, cooperation, and sustainable development) to be very important and relevant.
Belarus, as a responsible member of the global community and a country with significant technological potential and achievements in food and water security, is ready to share its achievements to ensure the harmonious development of countries in the Global South.
We are already doing much in this area, and partnership with Great India opens up new unique prospects.
I am confident that Belarus’s possible accession to the New Development Bank will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of our cooperation. I count on Your support for Minsk’s application to this structure.
I look forward to meeting with You in person soon, my Dear Friend, to exchange views on bilateral and multilateral issues of the day.
