The Army Day ceremony of the Islamic Republic of Iran was held in the presence of Indian political and military officials, ambassadors and military attachés of different countries, journalists as well as a group of Iranians living in Delhi.
Dr. Iraj Elahi, the ambassador of our country in New Delhi, during the ceremony, referring to the capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army, said: “With its independent, self-reliant and strong armed forces, the Islamic Republic of Iran is proud to be the anchor of stability and security in the West Asian region”.
“The message of Iran’s armed forces to all neighboring countries and the world is a message of peace, friendship and security” ambassador said.
The ambassador of our country also pointed to the historical and cultural ties between the two nations of Iran and India and emphasized that the Indian Ocean has connected the two friendly countries and provided the basis for mutual cooperation between the two sides to ensure maritime security.
In this ceremony, Colonel Hasan Momeni, the military attaché of our country in India, explained the military policies of our country.
Also, Lieutenant General R.S. Raman, Director General of Indian Military Intelligence, who was a special guest of the ceremony, positively evaluated the military cooperation between Iran and India.

In today’s turbulent world, where the global equations are not based on ethics, humane and just principles, but, based on force and double standards, in a world where insecurity and war threatens human life more than ever, having the strong military power to deter and deal with threats is not only inevitable but of utmost importance.
The contemporary history of the world has seen many conflicts. In the recent decades we have seen many wars in Europe, Asia and Africa.
In such circumstances, the Islamic Republic of Iran is proud to be the anchor of stability and security in the West Asian region with its independent, self-reliant and strong armed forces.
The message of Iran’s armed forces to all neighboring countries and the world, is peace, friendship and security.
The approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran is grounded on peace, friendship and cooperation. Meanwhile, it defends its security and national interest fiercely against any threat.
The military doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on active defense and deterrence. Deterrence for the establishment of peace and security at the national and regional levels.
Within the framework of this doctrine, talking about the recent present, the Islamic Republic of Iran has been forced to take preventive measures against Zionist Regime, within the framework of the well-known principles of international law.
Not only fighting the face of terrorism but the Islamic Republic of Iran, with its long coastlines in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, plays a unique role in ensuring the world’s energy security, and has always emphasized on the mutual cooperation and empathy of the coastal countries to ensure the security of the water zone and energy center without the presence of any foreign forces.
