Bagan is an archaeological zone of more than 2,000 ancient pagodas. It was built in 11th centuries during the rise of Bagan empire.Today Bagan is a part of Mandalay division, Myanmar.

Bagan has an unreal landscape with mystical pagodas which makes it one of the best hot air balloon ride destinations in the world. Bagan’s balloons have become an iconic symbol of the Myanmar, and have carried many travelers on soaring adventures of a lifetime. Ballooning season in Bagan runs from the beginning of October to the middle of April. Sunrise is when most rides are offered, as the cooler morning temperatures allow balloons to float closer to the ancient stupas for a more detailed glimpse.
