Dear Friends,
It is a pleasure to connect with you through this special edition of the “Envoy Excellency” Magazine, which celebrates the 33rd anniversary of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic. As we mark this significant occasion, I am delighted to share insights into our beautiful country and the strong and growing friendship between Kyrgyzstan and India.
Over the past three decades, through our joint efforts, we have built a strong foundation for bilateral relations, which today represent a modern and dynamic model of interstate interaction in all areas of bilateral cooperation.
Since 2019, the relations between Kyrgyzstan and India have evolved into a strategic partnership, characterized by dynamic political dialogue and close cooperation. This enables us to effectively advance the objectives of our bilateral agenda and contribute to strengthening regional and global security.
The two countries are actively developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation. A significant number of Indian students are choosing Kyrgyzstan as their destination for higher education. Their presence in our country not only enriches our academic community but also fosters greater mutual understanding. Moreover, through various cultural programs and events, we are strengthening the bonds between our peoples and fostering a deeper appreciation of each other’s cultures.
Looking ahead, we share a common vision and great prospects for deepening our collaboration in many areas such as pharmacology, textile, clothing, mining, energy, information and communication technologies, hotel construction, etc. I hope that with optimism and shared determination, we will continue to work together to elevate our cooperation to new heights and mutually benefit our peoples.
In closing, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the editorial team for the initiative to issue this special edition celebrating Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day.
And I would like to thank the readers for being an integral part of this celebration and for their keen interest in the relationship of friendship between Kyrgyzstan and India.
Best regards,
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic
