New Delhi: Mr. Aziz RABBAH, Minister of Energy, Mines and Sustainable Development, has participated, at the 16th Ministerial Meeting of the International Forum of Energy (IEF16), which has been held in New Delhi in India, from 10 to 12 April 2018.During his participation at the 16th Ministerial Meeting of the International Forum of Energy, Mr. Aziz Rabbah spoke at the plenary session of the conference on “The adoption of clean technologies coexistence of new and existing technologies: The way forward “. In his speech, he recalled that the Kingdom has succeeded in taking over, under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty The King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, a sustainable energy model based on clean and efficiency energy.
The Minister has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Mines and Geology with Mr. Narendra Singh Tomar, Indian Minister of Mines. The purpose of this memorandum of understanding is to strengthen cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of geological infrastructure development (geological, geophysical and geochemical maps), the strengthening of geological research, the promotion of geological exploration and mining.
During these two days, Mr. Aziz Rabbah held a series of interviews with ministers attending the ministerial meeting include Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, Indian Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Mr. MJ Akbar, the Indian Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs, as well as an interview with the Under Secretary of State for Energy of the United States of America.
During his stay in India, Mr. Aziz RABBAH went to the National Institute of Solar Energy. He has also held a meeting with the leaders of the “International Solar Alliance
