New Delhi: Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of France, Mr. Jean-Yves Le Drian, accompanied by senior officials of his Ministry, visited to India from 14 to 15 December 2018.
During the visit, Minister Le Drian was traveled to Mumbai on 14 December where he meets senior state government officials as well as interacts with Indian and French personalities from the film, television and tourism industries. Minister Le Drian was also call on the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
External Affairs Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj was hold delegation-level talks with Minister Le Drian in New Delhi on 15 December. The two sides was reviewed the broad gamut of the multi-faceted India-France bilateral relations and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Minister Le Drian was also attending the signing of contract for cooperation between Atos (a European IT services corporation with its headquarters in Bezons, France) and the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) for the development of supercomputers in India.
Minister Le Drian was also call on Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi on 15 December before departing India on the same day.
