New Delhi: The Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, United Kingdom, was paid an official visit to India from 14-17 December 2020.
During his stay in New Delhi, Mr. Raab holds talks with Minister of External Affairs, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on 15 December 2020 on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest. He was also having an official meetings with the Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change, Shri Prakash Javadekar and the Minister of Education, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal.
As part of the visit, Mr Raab was travelled to Bengaluru where he met with the Chief Minister of Karnataka on 17 December 2020.
India and the United Kingdom enjoy a strategic partnership since 2004 which has been marked by regular high level exchanges and growing cooperation in diverse areas. Mr Raab’s visit pave the way for further strengthening of the partnership across trade, defence, climate, migration and mobility, education and health sectors in the post-Covid, post-Brexit context.
