The India-France-UAE Trilateral Ministerial Meeting was convened on 22 September 2026, at New York, on the sidelines of 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Indian side was led by Dr. S. Jaishankar, Hon’ble Minister of External Affairs. The French delegation was led by H.E. Jean-Noel Barrot, Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the UAE side was led by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister.
The Ministers reviewed the progress in the trilateral cooperation across the agreed areas of mutual interests, including in the sectors of space, artificial intelligence and culture and heritage. The three ministers also discussed the situation in West Asia. They emphasised further strengthening and expanding trilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest and to further build upon the strong and friendly ties that exist between the three countries.
India, France and UAE reaffirmed their commitment to further build constructive ties among the three countries through concrete initiatives and agreed to meet at regular intervals, to review the progress in all synergetic areas.
