Slovakia has a well-established defence manufacturing base, particularly in areas like ammunition, artillery
systems, and military technologies—how would you describe the current strengths and global positioning of Slovakia’s defence industry today?

Strengths and global position of Slovak defence industry is growing very fast especially in this period of global
environment. Based on this we can say that our industry is actually within top leaders in Europe.

The Slovak defence sector includes both state-owned and private enterprises, often working in international
collaborations—how does your association facilitate cooperation between industry players and the government to strengthen the overall ecosystem?

The industry co-operate together and use all necessary experience within national and international area.

With increasing global demand for defence equipment and modernization programs across Europe, what are
the key growth areas and investment opportunities within Slovakia’s defence industry, particularly in advanced manufacturing and exports?

I consider as a key growth area and investment opportunities mostly high skills of people working in our industry. Our analyze describe Slovak industry development as one of the most credible area in case of quality and production skills.

India is among the world’s largest and fastest-growing defence markets—what opportunities do you see for
Slovak–Indian defence cooperation, especially in areas like joint production, technology transfer, and supply chain
integration?

As it was mentioned we offer high skills and quality approach, friendly workspace and possibility to cooperate
within all defence area. ToT and JV structure are considered as a key for future common manufacturing.

Emerging technologies such as drones, autonomous systems, and AI-driven defence solutions are reshaping
modern warfare—how is Slovakia positioning itself in these domains, and what role does your association
play in promoting innovation?

Based on the fact that we are very close of conflicts, our companies has huge experience in modern warfare and the are very proactive in case of building new capacities for products use AI platform. The association provide support within national and international environment as well.
