New Delhi: During the meeting, entire template of bilateral relations were discussed covering all areas of cooperation, including political and parliamentary exchanges, military and security, science and technology, economic, health and tourism. The two Ministers expressed satisfaction at the progress of bilateral relations by taking forward the decisions taken during high level visits in 2015 and 2016 and discussions held on sidelines of SCO Summit in Qindao. The Minister congratulated Kyrgyz Republic for taking over as Chair of SCO in 2018-19 and assured full cooperation in successful conduct of meetings and SCO Summit in 2019 to be held in Kyrgyzstan. The two Ministers also took the opportunity to discuss other issues of regional and international interest.
The visit of External Affairs Minister further consolidated the warm and cordial multi dimensional relations between India and Kyrgyz Republic. The visit has added to high level exchanges between India and Kyrgyz Republic in the past few years since visit of Prime Minister in July 2015.
